I just love the little girl’s hair

Carol wrote to me: “I started this project as soon as it was shown on  your website.  It is still not framed, but thought you might enjoy seeing another version of what I am sure will be many, many more versions.

My name is Carol Bianconi and I have avidly been stitching (hardanger and silk ribbon) for the past seven years.  The first project I did was the Red Clover Flower Fairy  which I entered into a judged Embroidery Guild of America Show in Palos Verdes, California.  The piece received a third place.

The Maiden with the Horse received a second place ribbon.  This will be submitted in their 2014 Show.

I have also completed the Peacock featured in one of your e mails.  Lovely pieces.

I do enjoy your books (all of which I own) and always look forward to your featured project in your emails.”

Thank you Carol, for making our day and for sharing your talent with all of us

I wish you the best of luck in the competition!

Enjoy your week everyone and happy stitching

Love

Di

  1. Hi. I saw your website on Facebook and added it to my “likes.” Is this kit available to buy?
It is absolutely breath taking! I have two granddaughters, ages 2 amd 4, and it made me think of them.
I look forward to hearing from you and I am so glad I saw your website on Facebook.
    Best wishes,
    Sheri
